Antón Costas

He is a professor of Applied Economics at the UB and president of the Economic and Social Council. He has been president of the Círculo de Economía between 2013 and 2016. He has published numerous books, articles and essays on the political economy of reforms and the formation of public policies. He actively participates in the public debate on the great economic and social issues of our time. He is an opinion columnist for the newspapers La Vanguardia, El Periódico de Cataluña and El País. His latest book is La nueva piel del capitalismo (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2016). He currently his president of the Economic and Social Council.
