Domingo García Marzá
Professor of Ethics at the Jaume I University of Castellón, director of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology and director of the "Applied Ethics and Democracy" research group. He has further studied Politics in Frankfurt (Germany) and Economic Ethics at ST. Gallen (Switzerland), at the University of Notre Dame (United States) and at the Magee College of the University of Ulster (Northern Ireland). His lines of research include: deliberative democracy, business ethics, institutional design, civil society, and critical hermeneutics. Among his numerous publications, the following books stand out: Teoría de la justicia (1992), Teoría de la democracia (1993), La empresa socialmente responsable. Ética y empresa (2003), Razón pública y éticas aplicadas (2003, with Adela Cortina), Ética empresarial: del diálogo a la confianza (2004), Integrating the ethical perspective: methods, cases, levels in business and management (2005, with Martin Büscher and Hans de Geer) and Public reason and applied ethics. The ways of practical reason in a pluralist society (2008, with Adela Cortina and Jesús Conill).
