Leire Pajín
Director of International Development at ISGlobal, president of REDS (Spanish Chapter of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network-UNSDSN), and member of the strategic council and leadership of UNSDSN. Before being elected as president of the EU-LAC Foundation, she worked as Senior Advisor to the United Nations Development Program on post-2015 development agenda (New York, 2013-2014), for the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean UNDP (New York 2014-2017), and as Special Advisor to UN Partnerships, in the office of the Pan American Health Organization (New York, 2012-2013). She is Minister of Health, Social Policy and Equality (2010-2011), Secretary of State for International Cooperation (2004-2008) and member of Congress and the Senate (2000-2012). Former president of the non-governmental organization Solidaridad Internacional (2000-2004). Expert in Sustainable Development Goals and Corporate Social Responsibility. She has a master's degree in Business Management and Organizations in the Knowledge Economy at the UOC and a bachelor's degree in Sociology at the University of Alicante.
