Michel Agier
Anthropologist, professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS, Paris) and senior researcher emeritus at the Institut de Recherches pour le Développement (IRD). His main interests are human globalization, exile and urban marginalities. After several years of fieldwork in West Africa and Latin America, he has carried out his research work on migration and refugees in Africa, the Middle East and Europe. He is currently director of the Policy Department of the Institut Convergence Migrations. Among his latest books it is worth highlighting Babels.
