Santiago Zabala

He is an ICREA research professor at the Pompeu Fabra University Faculty of Humanities and author of the books The Hermeneutic Nature of Analytic Philosophy, The Remains of Being and, more recently, Why Only Art Can Save Us, all published by Columbia University Press. His latest book is Being at Large: Freedom in the Age of Alternative Facts (2020). Zabala also writes opinion pieces for Al-Jazeera, The New York Times and The Los Angeles Review of Books.
